If you are old enough to remember it you know exactly where you were when you heard the news.
Even thinking about it thirteen years later brings up an incredibly hollow feeling that will never be filled.
I can’t imagine what it must be like to be a survivor or a surviving family member.
If we weren’t aware of it before that day, it was confirmed for us. There is evil in the world.
If we weren’t aware of it before that day, it was confirmed for us. There is courage in the face of evil.
Thank you to all the courageous men and women who got up and went to work on September 11, 2001 and didn’t go home that night.
Thank you to all the average Joes and Janes who did things they never thought they could that day.
For me, there will never be words to describe that day.
John 3:16
Have a STRONG and COURAGEOUS day!

Thank you Dave, for this message.
I’m shocked to see that the nytimes has completely failed to highlight 9/11 in any meaningful way today, which I think is a testament to how much the mainstream has forgotten this tragedy.
Thankfully there are many of us in the online content space who have not forgotten, and never will. Thank you again for your message.
Thanks, Josh, for taking the time to read and comment. I hadn’t looked at the Times at all to see what they were doing but it is more than disappointing to hear they didn’t do much with it.
As you say, I don’t believe most people as individuals will forget that day and I hope that we as a country won’t forget either but it appears that may not be the case.
Thanks, Josh!
